Player to watch for goal: Matt Boldy, MIN (vs. SEA) -- The Minnesota Wild wing has scored six goals in his past four games and has 12 points (eight goals, four assists) in his past eight games. Boldy ranks second in the NHL with eight goals since March 10 (entering Sunday) and second on the Wild with 25 goals this season. Minnesota hosts the Seattle Kraken, and Boldy has 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists) in 37 home games.
Player to watch for assist: Leon Draisaitl, EDM (at ARI) - The Edmonton Oilers forward scored a power-play goal and had an assist with four shots on goal against the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. Draisaitl extended his point streak to eight games and has points in 11 of 12 games in March (23 points, 11 power-play points, 42 shots on goal in span). He ranks fourth in the NHL with 67 assists entering Sunday, matching his NHL career high.
Player to watch for point: Aleksander Barkov, FLA (at OTT) - The Florida Panthers center scored two goals with four shots on goal against the New York Rangers on Saturday, extending his point streak to 10 games (16 points, four power-play points, 39 shots on goal in span). He is one of two Panthers averaging better than a point-per-game this season (other: Matthew Tkachuk) and had three points (one goal, two assists) against the Ottawa Senators on Oct. 29.
Player to watch for shots on goal: Brady Tkachuk, OTT (vs. FLA) - The Senators wing has had at least four shots on goal in seven of his past nine games. Tkachuk has scored three goals on 10 shots on goal over his past two games and has nine points, four power-play goals and 48 shots on goal in nine games since March 11. He ranks second in the NHL behind Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs in shots on goal over that span and fifth in the category with 307 this season.
